iTunes to iMedia...
Apple has long been trying to talk the movie industry in to releasing films for purchase within their iTunes entertainment portal. Talk no longer Apple... because word on the street is that Lions Gate Entertainment plans to offer movies through iTunes, MovieLink, and CinemaNow sometime before the ending of the year. Now, customers may have more of a selection to choose from while browsing. Apple plans to offer movies at a rental approach sorta like NetFlix but in downloadable terms. I think movies will be a great add to the "iMedia" ... but paying for downloaded media that you can't keep? I'll keep ya posted. Drop in a comment. Is it a good move for Apple?

Apple teams up with Coke.
In the past, Apple introduced it's iTunes Music Store in the U.S. with the help of Pepsi. The promotion contained songs for free located inside of Pepsi bottle caps. It was heavily promoted and raised the awarness of iTunes and the iPod. Now, Apple turns to Pepsi's arch rival, Coca-Cola, repeating the exact same promotion in Europe. Quick update for you guys... note that I need your comments for street blabber to keep on running.
