Its SHOWTIME! Apple Unveils iTV

Just yestarday, Apple hosted their annual event in San Francisco titled "Showtime." As promised, StreetBlabber has got you covered on the latest rumors that have come to life. Yes, its finally official: The big shocker of the conference was that Apple will release by next year, their new product named iTV. It will allow both Mac and PC users to purchase movies on iTunes, where they can then watch it on their television. Its release date is 2007 and will cost you $299 with wireless connections such as an HDMI port for high definition digital televisions. Apple's Steve Jobs is highly confident that this will be a HIT! Apple also unveiled other products as well, such as an upgrade to the Nano family by creating color choices which looks pretty cool. A smaller shuffle will be released as well with just a touch wheel for selecting music (and color choices). Now my opinion: I think its awesome for Apple to roll out with the iTV, yeah it will defeat Amazon's Unbox, and yup it will be a HIT! The product must be organized and try not to disappoint consumers with "tech troubles." As for the nano, its great that colors are now added, it gives customers a wider selection. And the shuffle in my opinion is just a reason for Apple to say that they do offer affordable products (it serves no purpose to me... but hey, its selling and tiny is in). What do you think of Apple's iTV and other unveilings? What does this mean for Apple as a company and brand? Drop in comment. Blab on>

  1. If anybody is poised to make this type of thing work, it's Apple. iTunes is already on so many computers that they've got the market penetration to try this.

    We'll see.
