Following heavy talk of Apple's iTV launch this Spring and the popular HDTV, Amazon.com wants in. A few months ago StreetBlabber broke the news on Amazon's Unboxed, which offered downloadable movies for sale. Now, the internet giant has improved to TV shows. The company has an exclusive connection with TiVo, gaining hold of 1.5 million Internet-connected subscribers. Amazon is doing the right thing in my opinion. I applaud any company that can keep up with the time, and Amazon is doing just that. Apple may hurt them as consumers realize the beauty of downloading movies and television shows onto their flat screen HDTVs. I payed a visit to Amazon.com's Unboxed and I enjoyed it. Its very impressive and extremely easy. You can search and find all movies and shows, see previews and more. Its a good start for the company, but books have become outdated as well (which is the company's leading product).
