Remember when StreetBlabber had that controversial Food Crisis Post. Remember when the nation was concerned with obesity...even labeling it as an EPIDEMIC! McDonald's stated that they will promote a bigger burger. It will contain more calories and will be part of the restaurant's Angus Family with a high price and more weight. Bigger than the Quarter Pounder, the new burger is being tested in 600 California locations (no word on the success of the new launch). The burger will be the most expensive sandwich on the McDonald's menu; priced at $3.99. Executives are saying that this is an attempt to remain in the competitive market of "premium burgers." I think McDonald's could be making the wrong move. I thought the new McDonald's was to be released...I'm confused. The fast-food giant promised to become healthier. This is just the opposite. Then again, if McDonald's does it everyone will. If this new burger becomes a hit, you can forget about the obesity crisis... everyone will think that FAT is IN.
I am sick to my stomach, bout those fast food places, they only care bout their profits and not the consumer, with their false promises about improving their products, yeah right, more meat, more fat, again the politicians benefit from them via campaing finances, so they don't give a u no what bout us, this is same as in my caribbean island, K.F.C that's why i called them " Kannot fry chicken" !LOL!
