Nintendo wants to expand its Wii video game device to improve its current features. The company has unveiled the "Wii Fit" game that encourages fitness activites instead of the ordinary thumb-pressing techniques. Nintendo intends to price its game counsel lower than both Microsoft's XBox 360 and Sony's Play Station 3. The Wii's new "Balance Board" is included with the game and features sensors that "detect weight and balance as the player moves and gyrates to stimulated physical activity on the television in front of them." This is innovative, considering the nation's obesity epedemic in both children and adults. I applaud Nintendo for their comeback into the gaming industry. They realized that Sony Play Station had some probelms with supply and demand and took that opportunity. Nintendo Wii is brilliant and the new fitness feature will be a hit this holiday season.
