WalMart Rat Squeals

The world's largest retailer has ran into another scandal involving a security employee who was caught recording private phone calls about WalMart employees and the company's practices. This violated WalMart's policies and the security employee was fired. The court judge ordered the former employee to provide WalMart arrorneys with the names of all participants in the scandal. WalMart stated that they want to ensure that the fired employee does not disclose any confidential information to the public (especially the media). Kenneth Senser, the fired employee, claimed that he was pressured by a former CIA and FBI official who recently headed WalMart's office of global security since 2003. He was pressured to record phone conversations and basically tap WalMart's global communication system. However, investigators discovered that he was part of a top-secret WalMart security team involved in various questionable activities. In response, WalMart created "Project Red" which will be in charge of preventing WalMart from possible scandals. This is nothing new, scandals are one of the major worries for America's blue chip companies. Remember when one of HP's board members sent text-messages disclosing private company information. In February, a Coca-Cola employee sent letters to Pepsi concerning private information. This is getting out of hand and something needs to be done to ensure privacy for all businesses. This is good news for security companies who will eventually develop a product that will prevent these insider scandals.

  2. You might want to fact-check your work. For starters, the fired employee is Bruce Gabbard.

Ermmm... Einstein? Kenneth Senser was his BOSS and was canned too! Gabbard was the jar-head wannabe spook tasked by a REAL career spook, Senser, to do the illegal phone recording (among other questionable orders)... Read Ken's back story: FAS

Wal-mart fired Ken to save face and arguably to stop the dark red bleeding at the wound re: "Project Red". He was gung-ho-esk hired by Wal-Mart after 9/11 because of his extensive background with the DC alphabet soup crowd. But he obviously allowed his cloak & dagger background get the best of him and foolishly went after a NYT reporter - IMHO that is...

IMO 1st rule of bad spooking is to let amateurs like Bruce 'gabby' Gabbard go after the 4th Estate (reporters)... Didn't they learn from the Watergate & Iran Contra stuff and the Washington Post??? IMO Marines make lousy spooks! FWIW - too much Semper Fi Do or Die stuff...

What's Bruce's testimony going to be at the upcoming going to be? "I 'vas only following orders!"
