Sony dishes Out $65 Million for our Eye Balls...
Today, Sony announced that they are jumping into the online media world. The company will buy out Grouper Networks, a video sharing site, for $65 Million. Sony must be carefull to not reshaping Grouper and forming it into some sort of over commercialized grubber because the site already relies on mainly on a community-based audience. Grouper only holds 1% of the market share. In my opinion, Sony has a good start, but i'll be interesting to see how they will match up to YouTube, who currently controls 43% of the market share. Do you think Sony will soon dominate with the buy out of Grouper... leave a comment.
