Something's Burning...."dude, its a DELL"
First off... I know this may be old news, but due to technical difficulties, this blog has been on a long delay, but this entry is a hot one. In the past, Xerox copy machines were said to be unreliable and would often cause fires, therefore they were sold along with fire extinguishers to prevent explosions. Earlier today, Dell recalled 4.1 million laptops because the batteries bursted into flames. Sony manufactures the batteries which are used in the Latitude, Inspirion, and Dell Precision Portable PC's that were sold between April 2004 and July 18, 2006 according to Jess Blackburn, a spokesman for the red rock, Texan, PC giant (a.k.a Dell lol) This follows Dell's slowest sales growth in four years after consumers complained about the company's poor customer service (sounds like we've got another Home Depot on our hands). In May, Dell stated that it will spend $100 million to improve service and product quality and to beat out its rival HP. It looks like Dell computers need to be sold with a fire extinguisher like the pre-historic Xerox machines LOL. Man, would you take a look at that photo... in the words of Napoleon Dynamite... "it's freekin' awesome"
