Virgin America Set For Take Off

Finally, following years of preparation, Virgin America is set for take off. The buzz has spread across the street and consumers are highly anxious. Competitors are taking notice as well. Virgin America's LAX premier will be complete with DJ Samantha Ranson, celebrities such as their own CEO, Sir Richard Branson and a red carpet. Virgin America offers passengers a comfortable setting while traveling. The new airline has gone beyond expectations by adding satellite TV and mood lighting. There will also be a mini bar, meals-on-demand and music in the bathrooms on board. Passengers can also expect a full entertainment system on flight with on-demand movies, games and music (create an individual song play list). Passengers can communicate with one another in online chat rooms and text messaging about random topics. The company has also partnered with Google Maps so that travelers can locate where they are while flying, check how far they are from their destination and remaining time until landing. First class passengers are seated in trendy white leather seats complete with a massage function and footrest. With all of these services, Virgin America manages to offer inexpensive flights. According to Virgin's CEO, Ranson, "our goal is to provide top notch services at low fares". At first, I thought that this was too good to be true... but now it I am all for it. I think Virgin could become the next JetBlue...but better. People are beginning to realize the potential within the travel industry... many people are traveling and are fed up (but its the only option). I urge Virgin to focus on the passengers... no delays! They must enforce strict operations that benefit the consumers. Would you fly Virgin? Leave a comment.
