The soft drink sales have been increasing following America's switch to healthy low-calorie premium beverages. Coca Cola wants in! Following the acquisition of Fuze, Coke plans to purchase the privately-held beverage company, Glaceau, the maker of Vitamin Water and Arizona Iced Teas (YUM!). The company has experienced extreme growth and has a price tag of 2 Billion. Glaceau is the number one health juice brand; the industry contains 22% of North America's beverage sales. I think that Coca Cola is making a smart move. Despite their drop in sales, the company is slowly recovering, and an acquisiton just might work. Vitamin Water has gained an enormous amount of publicity and Coke's name will be a great addage.

coke is it, no matter what and they will bounce back and knocked pepsi out of the race with the vitamin water that wil be an a plus for them.
