Home Depot's latest Recovery

Home Depot has faced some serious let downs this summer.. let's recap for a bit: CEO refuses to answer simple questions at company meeting, boycott at company meeting, unhappy investors at company meeting, slowing sales, horrible customer service, and unsanitary retail stores. Don't get me wrong though, the company has made an effort to regain that #1 spot, lets recap: Gulf Coast rebuilding efforts, and now.... Home Depot, starting in October will air live home improvement shows and videos directly from their website. Although this may be the top story... I think we should pay attention to one major detail: SLOWING SALES. YouTube has several videos of customers just hanging around not purchasing anything. Home Depot needs to find a way to make customers start buying again. I can understand slowing real estate markets and oil prices rising (even though we are experiencing lower prices). Back to the main story: I think its a great move, and I hope it sparks customer's interests into buying more and more. The company currently offers in-store how-to tutorials on endless topics. However, the service is not avaliable 24/7. If I may add, I think it to be wise to offer live how-to tutorials within the stores (also airing online), that way you can reach a mass audience and not just online users. This is exclusive news: So, you must leave a comment and say it with me... BLAB ON>
