Intel will introduce later this week its powerful new processor: Montecito, in an attempt to hold on to its up-scale computing market position. This new chip is twice as powerful as its replaced processor. Featuring two cores instead of one, 20% less power and more internal memory. Montecito will compete with possible new products set to be released from IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Advanced Micro.
