Google's upcoming Internet-Based Personal Storage device

Rumors are spreading around the street today that Google is preparing a full-scale storage backup solution for consumers and possibly businesses. This new release will back up data over the internet as a substitute for local storage hard drives like USB keys, CDs and DVDs. For now it's dubbed as "Google Gdrive." Will customers trust Google for their personal data? With Google's Gmail, many already do! I like the idea overall... the only thing is TRUST!!! Will Google be on this new product 24/7 with maximum security ensuring that my personal data is safe while being saved into this internet portal? I hope so. I'll keep you updated.
