Inside The Magic Of Harry Potter

Harry Potter fans worldwide are awaiting the release of the seventh and last book of J.K. Rowling's popular series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The book will be released on Saturday, July 21st. The fifth movie is set to be released in a few weeks and it was also announced that a billion dollar theme park is in the making. Retailers are awaiting the final release with caution. Competition is at all time highs between Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and WalMart. Some retailers have offered fifty percent discounts to fans. Amazon.com's CEO, Jeff Bezos, stated that the company will not make a profit from the new book, but there are more than one million pre-orders so far. Some retailers complain that offering these competitive discounts is similar to how music downloads affected that industry. Harry Potter's publisher, Scholastic, has sold millions of copies worldwide but the company's share price is lower compared to five years ago. I think that the new Harry Potter book has not created as much 'hype' as the previous titles. Yes, Amazon and Barnes and Noble have created catchy web pages and decorated stores...but the media seems calm. Maybe its time for an ending. Stay with StreetBlabber... we will offer some compelling articles regarding the world of books; discussing topics such as Amazon.com, Jeff Bezos, Barnes and Nobles comeback, future of books and more. As for the theme park...GE's Universal Parks and Resorts have decided on constructing a 20-acre attraction entitled: "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter".
