Superbowl XLI

Its that time of the year when advertisers are on their feet prepating for those million dollar Superbowl commercials. CBS has expected a $2.6 million profit from ads during the game. Many internet companies are placing bids for Superbowl ads including GoDaddy.com, Yahoo!, and Sock Puppet. Maybe one day, StreetBlabber! But, yet again, the biggest spender this year is Anheuser-Busch. Industry analysts are saying that Budweiser would most likely continue with unforgetable humor for Superbowl XLI. With hopes to gain the younger crowd, Budweiser hired stars such as Dale Earnhardt, Jay-Z, and Carlos Mencia. Anheuser-Busch has been the exclusive alcoholic beverage sponser for the Superbowl for years and their contract extends to 2012. Their promotions will be split between Bud and Bud-Light. Allowing equal exposure under one brand. Its not just Budweiser, other companies have their promotions set and ready to go this Sunday. Pepsi will again be the official half-time sponser. Don't expect the trashy Britney Spears in 2007 XLI, but instead the company will offer a jewel encrusted, Pepsi Super Can worth 100 grand! HA... great ad for eBay. Daritos, Cadillac, Motorola, FedEx and Sprint are all featured as well.
